Oscar de la Renta and Julio Iglesias are just a few big names associated with this luxury resort. Mikhail Baryshnikov reportedly put his St. Bart’s villa up for sale after setting eyes on the place; and local papers run regular photos of a vacationing Bill and Hilary Clinton. The former no doubt stay in the Los Corales residential community within the resort although accommodations ranging from two- and three-bedroom oceanfront villas (decorated by Mr. de la Renta himself) to deluxe rooms and suites are equally as elegant.
The Six Senses Spa is connected with the award-winning group recognized among the best in the world by Conde Nast Traveler magazine. Pete Dye designed the oceanfront golf course, and a second is under construction by Tom Fazio of Querencia fame in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
