Bio’s unpretentious lounge atmosphere is a hit with the Colonial Zone’s resident bohemian crowd. A DJ perched above the crowd spins house, urban soul, and whatever other genres are currently deemed cool, the sizeable dance floor is pretty much deserted until about midnight when most Dominicans hit the clubs.
Newcomers wanting to plug into the Old City scene would do well to visit here, or the sister club S Bar across the street.
