Enjoy Peruvian and Dominican-infused sushi and other Japanese
delicacies at this newish sushi bar and lounge.
Sushi master Lorenzo
Mendoza hails from Peru, but studied at the same establishment as
famous NYC sushi czar Nobu Matsushita.
Try the Dominican Roll and your
eyes will roll back in pleasure as the sweetness of the crab is
accentuated by the maduro on top. Don’t miss the tiraditos, a
Latin-Asian take on carpaccio (choose the cilantro-infused tiradito de
salmon), and sample a delicious ceviche or even a better-than-the-norm
miso soup with crabmeat to start.
If there’s a wait, have a martini or
two at the swanky and uber-modern bar on the first floor.
