The second instalment of Dominicana Moda, at the Hotel Embajador, proved to be a success. Scoring high accolades was Agatha Ruiz de la Prada , with can only be considered as “fashion jugglery”.

Surprising us with the quality of their designs were Gutierrez and Marcano, these two Chavon graduates have been busy creating clothes that not only exude elegance but they also give the runway a kind of seriousness that can only be achieved thru years of expertise.


Belkola , now graduated from zippered handbags, delivered, as was expected, a collection that will prove to be the launching pad of a great career in fashion.

With the 2007 edition of Dominican Moda barely finished, we can’t wait to see will McKinney and Morales will bring us for 2008.
