Take in rolling emerald green hills as far as the eye can see from any table under the thatched roof of this open-air restaurant and activity center.

Dotting the sweeping vista are about twenty horses; the amicable proprietor and host Mr. Tiburcio keeps them for visitors who may want to take a guided trot around the property before lunching on local fare. He’ll also arrange rafting expeditions along the Yaque River and hook up paragliders with outfitters in nearby Constanza. Bicycles are also available for cycling along the tree-lined avenue until it ends where Jarabacoa’s two major rivers converge.

Good food and excellent service; also serving breakfast and dinner.
