This overwhelmingly successful restaurant is one of the few independents in an area of all-inclusive resorts.

Punta Cana vacationers, by the boat and busload, come to this casual, table-in-the-sand establishment both for the food and the fun.

The prix-fixe meals include super-size grilled seafood platters (lobster, calamari, fresh fish, and shrimp) and all the trimmings. The energ, and the synergy, between the upbeat and sometimes singing waiters and the multi-tasking grill masters is a show in itself.

After you’ve gorged yourself, take a siesta on the beach, where you can watch the ensuing madness of vendors hawking everything from hair-braiding to tattoos.

With nearby resort guests arriving en masse for both lunch and dinner daily, reservations are essential.
