At this restaurant where the amiable proprietor, Graciano Francisconi recites the menu and a performing parrot puts on amazing acrobatic feats on a flying trapeze, only the food could upstage either character – and it does.

Homemade pasta is stirred up daily with an assortment of fresh fish and seafood, served in the sizzling pan in which it was cooked.  Satisfying dishes include spaghetti marinara with chunks of seafood; or Tío Veppe’s gnocchi with asparagus and bacon-wrapped shrimp. For vegetarians, the fusili milanesa with eggplant, black olives, and cheese. 

Colibar is located directly across the road from the beach; eat in or waterside on one of the picnic tables provided for guests.
