The hedonistic atmosphere at this chic beach house is a fantasy world away from the day-to-day realities of the city. The scene is mostly urbane capitaleños worshiping the sun in contemporary comfort while a handsome staff anticipates basic needs such as fresh towels for bathers emerging from the sea and replenishment of empty drinks with names like Sex on the Beach.

The extensive menu features refreshing salads, exotic wraps, sushi, and brick oven pizza. More substantive entrees can be enjoyed during dinnertime hours when the light of tiki lamps cast a diaphanous glow. The beach itself isn’t overly spectacular, but the plush facilities are the real draw anyway. Sundays are most popular (and at times even downright overwhelming) with lots kids running around. Consider going on a weekday or Saturday when the crowd is significantly scaled back.
