This gathering spot for the city’s cultural cognoscenti is located in the courtyard of the nondescript building housing the National Cinema – its singular screen dedicated to American classic and artsy foreign language flicks.

Most patrons forego the attractive enclosed bar area, heading almost reflexively to the canopied patio; an impromptu stage for frequent poetry readings, music and theater performances.

Eats are usually inexpensive Spanish tapas, with designated nights featuring Mexican, Thai, or sushi.
